Recently, Annie and I had the opportunity to experience a Houston Dash vs. Orlando Pride soccer game at the BBVA Compass Stadium, VIP style. It was our first time going to a Dash game and the girls did not disappoint us. They won 4-2! It was a very exciting game. I used to play soccer in High School (we were horrible, but had a lot of fun) so it was nice to see a professional women’s soccer game. However, what was more exciting was there were four Women’s National Team players on the field that won bronze medals during the 2016 Olympics in Rio! There were two players on Pride: Ashlyn Harris and Alex Morgan, and two players Dash: Morgan Brian and Carli Lloyd.
I also had the chance to attend the Dash picture day and snapped a pic with Stephanie Ochs, Melissa Henderson and Becca Moros!
The Dash 2016 season just ended on September 25th, but the 2017 season will be back in March. Consider checking them out, tickets start at $15! For more information, click here.
