Nosh & Booze: Dizzy Kaktus

UNFORTUNATELY THIS ESTABLISHMENT HAS CLOSED

If you don’t like tacos, I don’t know if I can trust you. Recently, Dorina & I had the opportunity to try the brand new taco & tequila joint in the heart of downtown – Dizzy Kaktus. Located between Main St and Congress Ave, it’s a stone throw away from all the poppin’ downtown bars – Honeymoon, Pastry War, Nightingale Room etc.

Dorina being a hard critic on tacos and me just a fan of food, we were pleasantly surprised! It was so delicious we came back the next day after a night of debaucherous fun and too many happy drinks.

Dizzy Kaktus should be your IT late hour eatery. They are open until 3 am on Friday and Saturday. Did I mention they have killer margaritas?! Tip: Always get your margarita “extra dizzy” here, you won’t regret it.

We went taco happy and ordered some of their most popular items.dsc_1295 Our favorite were The Texan, Korean BBQ, and the vegetarian option Goldie Hawn. The taco size is generous and very reasonably priced.

Dizzy Kaktus also serves dessert tacos. Who would say no to Nutella, especially as a late night snack 😉 I suggest ordering both and dipping the Nutella taco IN the ice cream #heavyinmouth

Dizzy Kaktus is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. So come by for a dose of taco anytime!dsc_1250
