Simone on Sunset is a true hidden gem in the heart of the Rice Village! Simone on Sunset has been open since 2010 and through the years, a mother-daughter duo has helped this lovely bar grow into a fixture on Sunset Blvd.
Everything about this place is charming and cozy. Perfect for a date night or happy hour with girlfriends. Simone’s happy hour runs from Monday – Saturday from 4-7 pm.
We stopped by Monday evening to catch their burger night and sampled tons of their delicious appetizers. The Parmesan truffle popcorn is SO yummy! You must try it when you go.
We also sampled several of their specialty cocktails and wine. We loved the Tiny Bubbles and El Diablo – both were super refreshing (pictured above).
During burger night, you get to choose between, beef, lamb or turkey served with either sweet potato or regular fries and assortment of toppings.
Fun Fact: Simone’s owner selects all the wine in the restaurant – the house carbernet is delicious. A couple group favorites includes their malbec and pinot noir (a customer favorite!)
What is great about Simone on Sunset is that you can come by ANY day of the week and enjoy one of their daily special deals. Double the fun during happy hour time!
Monday – $10 Burger Night
Tuesday – $5 Sangria all night, $10 Italian Meatballs
Wednesday – $10 Pizza
Thursday – Steak Night: 6oz filet with bacon $22, 12 oz ribeye $20
Sunday Brunch – $12 Hangover pizza, $8 Avocado Toast
$3 mimosas, $5 bloody mary’s, $5 cucumber martini’s
There’s also a large private room available for private parties which holds up to 45 people. If you are interested in booking, make sure to call ahead at (346) 980-8107
So bring your girlfriends or BAE to Simone on Sunset in the Rice Village to enjoy a lovely evening in this cozy place. Who knows, you might even get to meet the owner 😉 like we did!
