SPOTLIGHT: Airport Lounging VIP Style

If you are like us, you definitely LOVE to travel… but I don’t know about you, but we do NOT like the waiting around the airport too long before a flight, or even worse if the flight gets delayed.

That is why today we are going to give you some fun tips on how to survive that gruesome wait at the airport and lounge like a VIP traveler, for free!

The Perks:
In order to make the time past faster and smoother, make sure you have an airline card, Priority Pass card or a travel friendly credit card ( Platinum American Express or Chase Reserve) for access to these airport lounges.

The best part about having access to these lounges is that you can sit comfortably and relax before your flight. You can also enjoy FREE food, coffee, snacks, WIFI, and the best part… FREE drinks!

Access to Airport Lounge:
If you are from Houston like us, I’m pretty sure most of your flights are with United, so being a Mileage Plus Explorer card holder sure comes in handy. You get extra miles for all your purchases and access to the United Club. There are 4 United Club Lounges at IAH!

Having a Priority Pass card is probably the most versatile and convenient card if you are a mix & match airline traveler, since it will grant you access to ANY Priority Pass Lounge all over the world! A couple of popular credit cards cards, including the Platinum American Express and Chase Reserve provides a complementary membership to Priority Pass. There are 2 Priority Pass Lounges at IAH!

One of the many perks of having a Platinum American Express is the access to the Centurion lounges. Although not every city has a Centurion lounge, Houston has a brand new one that opened last year in Terminal D.
