Travel: Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

You may recall our post last week about the cool Cabo Hotels we stayed at during our travels, so today we are going to share some fun tips on what to do when visiting Cabo for the weekend.

To get this party started, check out this fun video with some highlights of our trip:

Day 1:
We started off by staying at The Cape in Cabo San Lucas. We went downtown and visited the artisanal markets, had some micheladas at a local bar. IMG_1532IMG_1534Then we walked around the malecon and to our dinner stop,  The Office.IMG_1552It had an amazing view of the beach, live music and yummy Mexican food. Ohhh and of course,  had to take some tequila shots with the famous Office’s Rambo 😉IMG_1563

At night, we hit up the famously crazy Mandala Night Club.

And we even got to see Nelly’s rap concert at El Squid Roe next door! Flashbacks to middle school and high school! 😉

Day 2:
The following day, we went sailing with Cabo Adventures to see the famous Love Arch! We also got to snorkel and paddle board. The Cabo Adventures crew were super energetic and helpful. We had the best time!CaboProcessed with VSCO with c1 presetWe stayed at Mar Adentro in San Jose del Cabo for our second night. On our way there we stopped by and got some fresh coconuts. (Annie drank coconut water like a true Mexican, from a plastic bag) 😉IMG_1697 While we waited, this was our view… 🙂11That night, we had dinner at Acre. What is very unique about Acre, is that it is 25 acre piece of farmland that offers global cuisine restaurant and bar made with all local fresh ingredients. IMG_1776They also offer tastings of Mezcal that they bottle in house from Oaxaca.ACRE-entrance-1Acre will be introducing a series of tree houses soon! It will be such a treat to stay here.

We had the most AMAZING 15 course dinner at Acre. The cocktail menu here is great as well.

Our favorite were the ceviche options, the octopus and the corn ravioli, it was out of this world!acWe even got to meet the Chef, Kevin Luzande! Thanks for the hospitality Kevin 🙂

We hope that you found these recommendations useful and serve as a guide when you plan your next trip to Cabo. 😉

Cheers,
