Recently, I came back from a five day trip to Punta Mita, we stayed at the Four Seasons Punta Mita and it was the best experience.
Punta Mita is about 40 minutes to Puerto Vallarta and only a short 2 and half hours flight from Houston. Making traveling there quite easy. Landing in Puerto Vallarta is pretty hectic, there’s vendors everywhere, it’s quite a scene. To avoid confusion, I highly suggest booking airport transportation through the Four Seasons staff for a peace of mind.
The Four Seasons at Punta Mita is the perfect resort if you want to get away and relax. It’s also very family friendly, even though there were lots of kids there, I never felt bothered. There’s endless beaches, two pools and one lazy river.
The adult pool is very tranquil and has a sushi menu! YUM!This infinity pool overlooks the ocean and it’s just gorgeous. The one thing I loved about Punta Mita is it’s amazing sunsets.
Now onto our favorite activity, the lazy river. We were here every day. There’s tons of shades from all the palm trees and the water was the perfect temperature. One day we were here for three hours just floating… totally forgetting about time 🙂
With the resort right on the beach, there’s tons of cabanas, which I love that you didn’t have to pay to reserve, as long as it’s empty, it’s yours!
I also loved all the little details throughout the property that’s made our experience memorable like this cute little sign on the beach 🙂
And this amazing coconut hut!
They have a coco loco drink, which it’s all the liquors mixed with fresh coconut water 😉And this amazing hanging bed on the beach! Take me back :(
Now onto my FAVORITE part of every trip, THE FOOD! Every morning, a fresh batch of wild caught fish arrives, the chefs put it on display for the guests, he goes through details with every fish and how is best prepared. You can order your dinner right there and then!
We treated ourselves to room service every morning, the food is amazing!. Tip: There’s an Four Seasons App you can download, where you can order room service, book excursions, transportation service, and just about anything! SO convenient.
There’s also three restaurants on site, all were outstanding.
And my second favorite part of our trip was the spa experience. The spa at FS Punta Mita was newly renovated, complete with a sauna, steam room, Jacuzzi, cold plunge pool, and massive showers. Tip: arrive an hour before your treatment so you can enjoy all these relaxing amenities.
I hope this post will convince you to go visit Four Seasons Punta Mita, immediately. I am already looking forward to our next time back to this gorgeous relaxing property. 🙂
Cheers,
Annie
