Mia Bella Trattoria just had their grand opening of their Greenway Plaza and we were lucky enough to try out some of their signature dishes while also benefiting the restoration efforts of the Houston Symphony and Performing Arts. This will be the Italian restaurant’s third Houston location, with the other two being in Vintage Park and Greenstreet Downtown. Mia Bella invited a host of different people and patrons of arts for the evening–which also included performances throughout the night by Houston’s very own Jawad!
Also, we brought along The Coloful Chronicle’s new guest contributor and cameraman, Wesley!
The Greenway Plaza location has a great open concept where patrons are able to see their food being prepared and also floor-to-wall ceilings throughout the restaurant. Mia Bella’s Greenway Plaza location also has a large, private dining room option to accommate a more intimate dining experience as well. For those looking to enjoy some of the upcoming fall weather in Houston, Mia Bella has outdoor seating options too!
Some of Mia Bella Trattoria’s featured dishes we got to try included:
Meatballs paired with rosé (Wesley’s favorite of the evening)
Mushroom Risotto Croquettes
Tomato Bruschetta
Smoked Duck Tortelloni (Dorina’s favorite of the evening)
Mushroom Risotto
In addition to delicious Italian food, Mia Bella Trattoria has a fully stocked bar with a great cocktail menu and an extensive wine list featuring 50 wines for under $50!
Here’s Dorina enjoying Mia Bella’s Moscow Mule
Mia Bella Trattoria also has a happy hour (M-F 4-6PM), daily deals / specials (M-Th), and brunch options (Sa-Su) for all you Houston foodies!
Post in partnership with Mia Bella, all opinions are our own.
