I was introduced to Hopdoddy Burger Bar back in college during a trip to Austin and was hooked on their burger + shakes ever since. When Hopdoddy first opened up in Houston, I was ecstatic!
I have to admit I am not a big burger person (shame, I know), but I will eat anything that’s from Hopdoddy, it’s THAT good. Recently we visited their River Oaks District location during happy hour. 
Their $5 Happy Hour is amazing! $5 on allll drafts, wine, cocktails (their margaritas!!), seasonal burger and fries! You can wind down from a busy day with delicious burgers and drinks without breaking your bank 😉
The River Oaks location has a nice outdoor area, perfect for our fall weather 🙂
If you haven’t tried their margarita, do it, trust us!
On to the burgers, fair warning, you might want a burger right after this… 🙂
Honestly all the burgers were outstanding, but the impossible burger was the most surprising. It’s a vegan burger patty that in my opinion taste better than the real thing. It’s delicious. Fun Fact: Hopdoddy grinds their meat in house!
We also pigged out on some truffles fries + truffle aioli, and fries with green chili queso.
What’s a visit to Hopdoddy without their infamous shakes. My favorite is the nutella & chocolate pretzel.
If you want a well made burger and delicious drinks, you need to visit Hopdoddy asap.
