I recently went on a 4 day bestie trip to Chicago and had the best time! Even though it was cold and so rainy, the weather did not tamper our mood in this beautiful city.
I’m sharing our favorite spots in town for the ultimate windy city experience 🙂Chicago offers so many outstanding restaurants, we just could not fit it all!
Cindy’s Roof TopThis place is absolutely gorgeous and perfect for brunch. When we went it was rainy and foggy so the views were a little obstructed, but the interior is beautiful. They serve outstanding cocktails, however the food was a miss for me.
The Allis @ Soho HouseThe Allis house is so dreamy, velvet chairs, chandeliers, the decor is on point. It’s the perfect place for tea time.
Girl & the Goat
We took ZERO pictures here because we suck… and were so hungry! I had reservations but opted to sit at the bar because our bartender was so nice! (Hi Sammy!) Seriously eat here, don’t question anything, just do it.
Au Cheval
BEST BURGERS EVER. AND WINGS. AND EVERYTHING. Expect a very long but worth it wait time! While you wait, you can grab drinks at several outstanding places close by.
Three Dots & DashThis place was highly recommended by many friends, we made reservations online ahead of time, we went Sunday night so it was very chill. The drinks are creative and yummy!
Peqout’sWant true Chicago style deep dish? Skip Giordano’s and go here, seriously!! During the week they have a lunch special for $4.95!!
The Signature Room
We came here strictly for views, more specifically the views in the ladies bathroom. Located in the formely Hancock building, now 360 Chicago. You can skip the lines and head straight for the Signature Room. Definitely stop by the bathroom and take a quick snap, we grabbed a quick drink and went our way.
Millennium Park
Chicago is so pretty, REALLY pretty during this season, the leaves are changing colors and it’s just the best!
Art Institute of Chicago
This is a must. There’s so many outstanding art pieces here! I would plan around 3 hours minimum to truly experience it.
Willis Tower
Get there early and buy tickets online! We heard that people spend around 2-3 hours waiting in line and we waited tops 10 mins! This was a bit challenging for me because I’m super afraid of heights!! But it’s so pretty and I’m glad I had my bestie there to cheer me on ☺️
Chicago Riverwalk
It’s hard to miss the river walk if you are downtown. Something about rivers, bridges, and tall buildings that just gets me. Passing the river while walking around made it much more fun!
