Since December 2017, Bubble Egg Waffles & Drinks introduced the authentic Hong Kong egg waffles to Houston and for that, we are so very thankful!….. Last week, my best friend and I had the pleasure to come check out the brand-new Bubble Egg Waffles & Drinks location in Garden Oaks/Heights and since the moment we walked in, we knew we were in for a treat! This location is very modern and crisp and the staff is super friendly and great at helping you choose the yummiest treats. 😋 Shout out to Ingrid & Taylor for making our experience amazing! 🙂

Fun Fact: Hong Kong’s egg waffle (aka ‘Gai Daan Zai’ in Cantonese) has been one of the most iconic Hong Kong Street snacks since the 1950s!
This location also offers a savory waffle option for now, a waffle with crispy cheese and they can add some sweet drizzles of honey or caramel to spark up the taste. At the other locations, especially the Bellaire one, you can find more savory snacks options including: Chicken Wing Waffle, Bacon & Cheese Bubble Waffle or even a Cheetos Cheese Dog Waffle! We definitely need to go try these options ASAP! 🙂
